Overview
The role
Mahajay Studios produces ad films, branded content and original shows. We are looking for one person who can cut the film and design the post that launches it — someone who is as comfortable on a timeline as on an artboard.
You will work remotely with our producers, strategists and the ad-operations team, taking projects from raw footage to finished, platform-ready assets.
What you will do
- Edit ad films, promos, teasers and social cut-downs from raw footage to final delivery, including basic colour correction, sound clean-up and titles.
- Design social media posts, carousels, thumbnails and story assets for client campaigns and for Mahajay's own channels.
- Adapt one master film or key visual into every size and format a media plan needs.
- Keep project files, versions and exports organised so anyone on the team can pick up where you left off.
- Turn feedback around quickly and say so early when a deadline is at risk.

What we are looking for
- A portfolio or showreel that includes both edited video and social design work
- Working command of Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, and Photoshop, Illustrator or Figma
- Motion graphics in After Effects is a strong plus
- Good judgement on pacing, typography and what stops a thumb on a feed
- Clear written communication — you will be working remotely
